This hands-on soil incursion brings nature to children's fingertips! An upgrade of a classic STEM activity, growing beans in different mediums and different conditions, helps students to learn so much about plants and their needs - including soil! This activity invites older students to develop hypotheses about how plants grow in different soil types, while younger students get to experience the wonder of plant growth and learn about plant parts and needs.
